Set Up Your Workspace Before You Start
One of Tracy's simplest rules is to prepare like a chef laying out ingredients, files, notes, tools and a clear space, so that once you sit down you can move without interruption.
Preparation lowers the activation energy of starting. A ready desk is an invitation to begin; a cluttered one is an excuse to delay.
Pair this with a clear written definition of 'done' and you remove most of the friction that causes procrastination in the first place.
